One of the biggest challenges is aligning digital strategies with a company’s core objectives and culture.
Digital technology is not just about technology its about people and processes too. It requires a mindset shift across the organisation and that’s often where resistance occurs.
AI with its capacity for automation, data analysis, and predictive capabilities, offers immense potential for transforming business operations and enhancing customer experiences. No longer a buzzword, AI offers a competitive advantage in everything from day-to-day business operations to high-level strategy design — when leveraged correctly.
GallantCEO interviewed Geoff Hudson-Searle recently on his views across the future of Digital technology and digital transformation.
As we move further into 2024, insights and strategic guidance remain invaluable to businesses navigating the challenges and opportunities presented by digital transformation.

Ima Von Wenden MCIPR from FlyingCarpetNews.com interviewed Geoff Hudson-Searle on winning back consumer trust in travel and hospitality.
The travel landscape continues to evolve with a new breed of traveler focused highly on technology for everything from researching and booking a trip to participating and sharing their travel experiences. These changes have led to online travel agencies, websites, mobile applications and travel aggregators all fighting for travelers’ attention and their budget.
Trust is the most important factor for organizational sustainability because it is essential for overcoming uncertainty and alleviating risks and anxiety when in crisis; it is also essential in normal times when service is disrupted. In addition, trust plays an important mediating role in maintaining long-term relationships between customers and service organizations.
As such, the perceived risk can be very high because customers make decisions about purchasing or using the service before experiencing the service, so service trust is essential in the service industry.

The Executive Magazine
Elizabeth Jenkins-Smalley, Editor in Chief, interviewed author Geoff Hudson-Searle recently in a recent editorial in The Executive Magazine.
Trust is the currency that sets exceptional Leaders apart. But what happens when trust begins to erode? A recent survey conducted by Datapad has uncovered a troubling trend a significant decline in employees’ trust in their business leaders.
Trust is the new currency. Corporate leaders today are measured by a new yardstick. The supreme test of a CEO and board of directors is now the value they create not just for shareholders, but for all stakeholders. Our research shows that trust is the key to success.
As Geoff stated ”As CEOs and business leaders, let us embark on the journey of restoring trust within our organisations and beyond, guided by the invaluable insights shared in “The Trust Paradigm.” Together, we can build a future where trust serves as the bedrock of our success and prosperity.”
In this eye-opening article, Elizabeth explored the global insights with Geoff drawing on a unique set of business practices, and efforts to distil those lessons into principles that lead towards a more purposeful and fulfilling set of experiences.

Headspring Executive Development
Geoff Hudson-Searle was interviewed by Diane Nowell in this article by Headspring Executive Development, a joint venture of Financial Times, discussing leadership and innovation in company-culture.
Geoff stated ‘‘Taking a more holistic approach means considering the impact that every change is going to have on the entire organisation, and not just specific functions or departments. Each employee will understand, and be focused on, how their work contributes to the company’s broader objectives.”
Possibly the most important discussion around business today, designleadership creativity and innovation is about spearheading business reinvention and the disruptive economy.
There is a huge gap between aspiration and reality, McKinsey & Company yearly global CEO report show that 84% of world leaders are still operating in a horizon 1 strategy.
Leaders need to see beyond the short-term, uncertainty and address the risks while finding the opportunities in digital disruption, the economy, and geopolitical uncertainties, this requires a horizon 2 and horizon 3 approach.
Trust is one of the most vital forms of capital a leader has today. Amid economic turbulence and global uncertainty, people are increasingly turning to their employers and business leaders as a source of truth, rather than their institutions and government officials. Trust, which can be defined as a belief in the abilities, integrity, and character of another person, is often thought of as something that personal relationships are built on. A high-trust organization is one in which employees feel safe to take risks, express themselves freely, and innovate.
There are also great opportunities, and these challenges can be met where leaders are able to move from a crisis management mindset to thinking about how to run their businesses differently, with a strong focus on culture.

News By Wire published a recent interview on Geoff Hudson-Searle, that focused on a ‘National Survey Reveals Just a Third of UK Employees Trust Their Bosses’.
A recent survey of the UK employees’ trust in their business leaders shows a significant drop compared to a generation ago. Best-selling business author Geoff Hudson-Searle conducted a survey, carried out by DataPad, establishing just how few of us trust our bosses – with 30% of respondents answering negatively to a question whether they trusted and respected their CEO and another 39% replying “a little”. Trust is always paramount, but given current global and national events, there has never been a greater need for trust in all spheres of our lives, even more so at the workplace and in business.

Business Mondays interviews Geoff Hudson-Searle, focusing on a return of trust in business.
Corporate leaders today are measured by a new yardstick. The supreme test of a CEO and Board of Directors is now the value they create not just for shareholders, but for all stakeholders.
Research that I carried out for ‘The Trust Paradigm’ shows that trust is the key to success. Yet growing distrust, cynicism and misinformation is eroding confidence in corporate impact and environmentalsocialgovernance (#esg).
To prosper in the age of stakeholder capitalism, companies must actively cultivate the trust of employees, investors, customers, regulators and corporate partners: developing strategies to understand these stakeholders more intimately, implementing deliberate trust-building actions, tracking their efforts over time, and communicating openly and effectively with key stakeholder groups.
Companies that acknowledge and act on the need to earn trust with their stakeholders will position themselves to lead; those that don’t put themselves at risk.

The best books about why ethical leadership and trust create amazing outcomes in life and business
By Geoff Hudson-Searle – author of The Trust Paradigm
Reading has a way of making an impact on our lives and changing the way we think, observe and ultimately influences our decisions.
You do not need to head for the contemporary Best Sellers shelf for an excellent read. I have always taken the stance that looking for acknowledged classics within the literary canon is a near-certain way to find books that deserve to be on your bookshelf.
Reading, learning and consuming information and ideas is now a big part of my destiny and purpose. Some books change you more than others. My rule of thumb is that if I get one good idea, it is one book worth reading.
This tactic has worked well for me over the years, and the following article by Shepherd are books from my collection. All make for excellent reading and for different reasons, and I consider each one to be a classic worthy of anyone’s time. If you love reading, or want to take it up, these are all perfect books for current new insights and inspiration.

To office or not to office? That is the question.
Navigating the COVID-19 pandemic and its aftermath will be one of the biggest business challenges of our time. Research by PwC shows that only one in five chief financial officers surveyed said they believed their companies could resume “business as usual” within a month if the crisis ended today.
Management teams bear the primary responsibility for navigating their companies through this disruption. It will be up to them to determine how and when to start the complex task of returning to the workplace once government restrictions are lifted.
Russell Coleman, Sales Director at SEC Group takes an in-depth look at the challenges facing commercial property owners and occupiers as a result of COVID-19, the changing face of office interior design and what the future holds for the industry, which includes insights from Geoff Hudson-Searle, CEO of International Business and Executive Management Limited.
